Community Guidelines
ROR has chat, a replay feed, comments and profiles. These Guidelines say what is allowed there. They apply to everything you post, send or display, and they are part of the Terms of Service. You must accept them before you can post anything.
1. What we expect
- Treat other players as people. Disagree about a game, not about who someone is.
- Post your own content.
- Report things that break these rules rather than escalating them.
- Play the game as it is meant to be played.
2. What is not allowed
Content that harms children
Absolutely prohibited, with no exceptions: any sexual content involving a minor, any sexualisation of a minor, grooming, and any attempt to arrange contact with a child for sexual purposes. Accounts are removed permanently and reported to the relevant authorities. See the Child Safety Standards.
Harassment and threats
Targeting someone with abuse, bullying, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact. Threats of violence. Encouraging others to pile on. Publishing someone's private information.
Hate speech
Attacking or degrading people on the basis of religion, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease. This includes slurs, hateful imagery and "jokes" whose point is the group they target.
Sexual and adult content
Pornography, sexually explicit content and sexual solicitation.
Violence and self-harm
Graphic violence, glorifying violence, and content that encourages suicide, self-harm or disordered eating. If you are struggling, please talk to someone you trust or a local support service — and you can always step away from the app.
Illegal and dangerous content
Promoting illegal activity, selling illegal or regulated goods, terrorism or violent extremism, and — because of what ROR is — any promotion of gambling, betting or wagering services.
Cheating and manipulating the game
Bots, automation, modified clients, exploiting bugs instead of reporting them, multiple accounts, colluding to fix a tournament result, or any scheme to extract points and rewards you did not earn.
Scams, spam and impersonation
Fraud, phishing, chain messages, unsolicited advertising, pretending to be another player or to be Joyful Games staff, and buying or selling accounts, coins, points or rewards.
Content that is not yours
Posting someone else's work, or anything that infringes copyright or trademarks.
3. How to report
In the app: long-press a chat message, or open a post or profile, and choose Report. You can also block any user — they immediately stop being able to contact you or see your posts.
From the web: realmofrewards.com/report — no account needed. Or email safety@realmofrewards.com.
We review every report within 24 hours. Child safety reports are escalated immediately and reviewed first.
4. What we do about breaches
We weigh how serious it was, whether it was deliberate, the harm caused, and the account's history.
| Action | When |
|---|---|
| Content removed | The post, message or profile element breaks these Guidelines |
| Warning | A first, minor breach |
| Feature restriction | Repeated breaches — chat or posting withdrawn for a period |
| Temporary suspension | Serious or persistent breaches |
| Permanent ban | Severe breaches, or repeated breaches after suspension. Unused coins are forfeited. |
| Points and rewards voided | Cheating or manipulating the rewards system |
| Referral to authorities | Child safety, credible threats of violence, and other criminal conduct |
5. How moderation works
Two layers. An automated filter runs on chat messages and on text posted to the feed, and blocks or holds content matching prohibited categories before it reaches anyone else. Everything that is reported, and everything the filter holds, goes to a review queue staffed by our team.
A person makes every decision that restricts an account. Automated systems can remove or hold a single piece of content; they cannot ban you. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and child safety reports are escalated immediately and reviewed ahead of everything else.
The filter runs on our servers, not on your device, so it applies the same way to everyone and cannot be bypassed by modifying the app.
6. Appealing a decision
If we act against your account we tell you what happened and which rule applied. To appeal, reply to that notice or email safety@realmofrewards.com within 30 days, saying why you think we got it wrong. Someone who was not involved in the original decision reviews it and responds within 15 working days. If we were wrong, we reverse it and restore what we can.
7. Changes
We update these Guidelines as the community grows and as new problems appear. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
