These are the standing rules for every tournament run in ROR. Each individual tournament also publishes its own official rules in the app before entries open — the game, the entry window, how winners are decided, how many there are, the prizes and the award date. Where an individual tournament's rules differ from this page, that tournament's rules apply to it.

1. The two kinds of tournament

ROR runs two kinds of tournament. Every tournament's own official rules state which kind it is.

Coin tournaments

• Entry costs coins, which are a virtual in-app item with no monetary value.
• Prizes are cosmetics, in-game items and standing on the board. Nothing awarded has real-world monetary value, and nothing awarded can be sold, transferred or converted into money.

Sponsored tournaments

• Entry is free. No payment of money, and no coins, are required to enter or to win.
• Prizes are funded by a sponsor and carry real-world value. These tournaments are therefore offered only in the territories named in their official rules, and only to entrants aged 18 and over.
• Buying coins gives you no entry, no extra entry, no extra attempt and no advantage in a sponsored tournament.

In both

• Nothing is wagered or staked on an outcome. Results are determined by how you play, not by chance, except where a tournament's official rules disclose a random element and its odds.

2. Who can enter

• You need a ROR account in good standing, and one entry per person.
• You must meet the minimum age in that tournament's official rules. Tournaments with prizes of real-world value are open to entrants aged 18 and over.
• You must be resident in a territory listed as open in that tournament's official rules. Entries from outside those territories are void. See availability.
• Employees, officers and directors of JOYFUL GAMES (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, and their immediate families and households, may enter but may not win a prize.

3. How to enter

By playing the tournament's game within the published entry window. Entries close at the published deadline, which is fixed in advance and does not move. Entries that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline, or made in breach of these rules are void.

4. How winners are decided

By performance in the game, measured as set out in that tournament's official rules — usually the highest score or the best time within the entry window. The number of winners and the prize for each place are fixed and published before entries open.

Where any element of a tournament involves randomness, that tournament's official rules state exactly how the selection works and disclose the odds. Ties are broken as stated in those rules.

Our determination of results is final, subject to the appeal route below.

5. Prizes

• Prizes are as described in the tournament's official rules, including their value.
• Prizes are personal to the winner and cannot be transferred or sold.
• Unless the official rules say otherwise, there is no cash alternative to a prize.
• We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize becomes unavailable.
• Winners are notified in the app, and by email where we hold an address.
• Prizes are awarded on the published award date. Delivery is covered by the Delivery Policy.

6. Tax

Under section 156 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, tax may be required to be deducted at source on prizes given by companies, including on the fair market value of a non-cash prize. Where that applies, the amount is shown to you before you accept the prize, and we may need information from you in order to account for it. Tax in other countries is your responsibility. We cannot give you tax advice.

7. Conduct and disqualification

We will disqualify an entry, void a result and withdraw a prize where we reasonably believe there has been cheating, automation, use of a modified client, multiple accounts, collusion, exploitation of a bug, or any other attempt to gain an unfair advantage. Serious cases also result in account closure under the Terms of Service.

8. Changes, suspension and cancellation

If a tournament is affected by a technical failure, a fault that materially affects fairness, or something outside our reasonable control, we may suspend, extend, restart or cancel it. If we do, we publish what happened and what we are doing about it. Nobody is out of pocket, because entry is free.

9. If you think a result is wrong

Email support@realmofrewards.com within 7 days of the results being published, with the tournament name, your username and why you think the result is wrong. Someone not involved in the original decision reviews it and responds within 15 working days. After that, the complaints process is open to you.

10. Your data

Entering means we process your account and gameplay data to run the tournament, decide winners and deliver prizes, as described in the Privacy Policy. We publish winners' usernames — never your real name, email address or contact details — unless you agree otherwise.

11. Law

These rules are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Tournaments are void where prohibited by local law, and are not offered in territories where they would be.
